Martin Kaszak

Martin is a London born singer-songwriter who lives in Cambridgeshire and has played at major Folk , Blues and acoustic clubs and festivals as well as playing on national radio. He plays a genuine 1930s National guitar, Richard Batram guitars as well as his David Oddy Mandocello.

Martin gently dips between traditional folk,ragtime blues and modern song influences to create an atmospheric and always easy on the ear sound. He is a fine singer and guitarist specialising in country blues ragtime finger-picking guitar as well as his own compositions. He also plays as a duo with Faradena Afifi who provides rich harmonies and plays viola and cello – see ‘Kaszak & Afifi’ page.

As well as his own songs, his wide musical influences range from Blind Blake , Jim Croce to  Rory Gallagher and Ralph McTell. Martin has supported major folk performers  including Ralph

McTell,  Martin Carthy , Phil Beer ,  John Renbourn and Steve Tilston as well as headlining at various events.
